The Concord Park event aims to bring the community together to support veterans. Starting at 9 a.m., attendees can enjoy activities like cornhole, beach volleyball, swimming and food. The event is kid-friendly and open to all.
“This event is a great opportunity for people to get involved and support Team RWB and local veterans,” said Three60fit Owner Christian Koshaba. Team Red, White & Blue is a nonprofit that helps veterans connect with their communities through social and physical events.
For those looking to get active, Three60fit is also hosting a “Murph Challenge” on Saturday morning. The challenge includes running a mile, then doing 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups and 300 squats, and then running another mile – all while wearing a 20-pound vest. The challenge costs $15 to enter, with proceeds benefiting Team RWB.
Memorial Day is a chance to honor the sacrifices of fallen service members. By organizing community events and fundraisers, Three60fit and Team RWB aim to pay tribute to all veterans and help enrich their lives. Local residents are encouraged to attend and show their support for those who have served the country.
