Country music star Kelsea Ballerini showed boyfriend Chase Stokes around her hometown of Knoxville, Tenn. this week, giving fans a glimpse into their blossoming romance.The couple visited Central High School, Ballerini’s alma mater, on May 24, with Ballerini, 29, posting photos of the school’s Bobcats mascots and football field on her Instagram Stories. She also shared moments from around Knoxville, including a mural of fellow Tennessee native Dolly Parton and a menu from Litton’s Market Restaurant & Bakery.Ballerini and Stokes, 30, who stars as John B. Routledge on the Netflix series “Outer Banks,” have been dating since January after Ballerini sent Stokes a direct message on Instagram. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2023 CMT Music Awards in April.
The pair have shared sweet moments from their relationship on social media, with Ballerini commenting “you cute” on a recent selfie posted by Stokes and Stokes writing “I really [heart] u” on one of Ballerini’s posts.
Ballerini told the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in February she had never seen “Outer Banks” before messaging Stokes. “I just knew of him, and yeah, I followed him and he followed me and I just swan dove right on in,” she said. “His handle is @hichasestokes and I said, ‘Hi Chase Stokes.'”
